And lo, the Mighty Have Fallen -- Ranma 1/2 -- A much darker and more sinister tone has been applied to our favorite manga, here. This story explores possibilities and eventualities. Specifically, it deals with what happens when it turns out that Genma's been carrying on the family tradition of running from responsibility, and that responsibility could make or destroy all of Japan as the Four Heavenly Kings summon their servants. This is a story that contains an overarching theme of darkness, and generally excessive high-powered violence.
Diamonds in the Rough -- A Ranma 1/2 crossover with Love Hina, and Goldenboy. Ranma 1/2 and Love Hina divergences. Goldenboy (slight) alternate universe. After a disaster drove Ranma from the Tendo home, he was adopted by Oe Kintaro, who inspired Ranma to try and go to the same college his 'older brother' went to. Tokyo University. What could possibly go wrong? Intended to be a comedy, but does contain bits of darkness and angst.
Motivation -- A Naruto fanfic that starts different right out of the gate. That night, with Iruka, things went a little differently. Now? Naruto is strong. Shikamaru is smart. Shino is clever. Something amazing could happen, with the right ... Motivation. Action/Drama, more 'realistic' and gritty than the original series. There's a focus on both the rookie nine and their teachers in this fic, and the pacing is a bit slow (sometimes, glacial).
Nightmare of Sagittarius -- A Haruhi fanfiction crossed over with an original science fiction universe. This is being majorly overhauled from my original (bad) idea of 'make it really sci-fi'. Instead, there's an actual story, and the science feels odd for a very good reason....
Sympathy -- Haruhi. Haruhi wishes that Kyon would try a little harder to understand _her_ side of things. She just knows if their positions were reversed, she'd do a much better job than he would. Right? (Not a gender-swap.)
False Advertising -- A Haruhi/Puella Madoka crossover. This story seeks to answer the question: Would Haruhi make a good magical girl? Very dark, probably also going to end up being a bit gory in places (and that's before we get to the really scary stuff!), but will have what I consider a happy ending. Mami-san is best sempai.
Later -- A different take on Haruhi and Kyon's relationship. Haruhi and Kyon would be together throughout highschool, right? And then ... what about after? Poetry throughout.
